Posted by Treggy: September 27, 2000 From www.abagnale.com and www.4filmmakers.com.. DreamWorks Entertainment is developing the movie, "Catch Me If You Can", based on the autobiography of Frank W. Abagnale. The executive-in-charge at DreamWorks is Glen Williamson. The producers are Michael Shane, Tony Romano and Barry Kemp. Barry Kemp was creator and producer of the TV series "Coach" and the recent movies "Patch Adams" and "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion". The screenplay was written by Jeff Nathanson, who wrote "Twister", "Speed 2", and " Rush Hour". The movie will be directed by Gore Verbinski, who just completed filming "The Mexican" starring Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. "Catch Me If You Can" will star Leonardo DiCaprio as Frank W. Abagnale.
